Portrait of David Baudrez, founder of The Loop Foundation
The founder

A builder, not a guru.

David Baudrez spent eighteen years at Cisco before becoming an entrepreneur. Three companies sold, including a medtech exit. Today he works with company leaders as a fractional CXO. But what matters here is where he put his hands.

The point

Most entrepreneurship methods are written by people who never ran a small rooted business. David did.

He has worked with farming cooperatives, winemakers, woodworkers, microbreweries, service SMEs, medtech projects. Businesses that live on a craft, a soil, a community, not on a funding round. He knows what it takes to start with no network and no capital, and to prove things fast, with very little.

The Loop came out of that experience. Not from a whiteboard. From the field.

Why the foundation

David built The Loop for founders who can afford it. The foundation exists for everyone else. The people no incubator is waiting for, who still have an idea, a craft, a drive. Giving them the access he spent years building for himself.
